Danny Ramos joined the army to escape the slums of the west side of Gemini City, Massachusetts and to help him pay for medical school. All the death and carnage he witnessed on the battlefield, along with his proficiency in medical science … lead him to become an army medic.

He was killed during an attack on his regiment, activating his dormant Ambient Gene and resurrecting him with Ambient Dimension based powers. During his resurrection, he had visions that he perceived as God speaking to him. This experience caused him to become a devout Christian.

After his honorable discharge, he went back to Gemini City to work as a volunteer healthcare worker. His efforts, background, and abilities caught the attention of a secret group of philanthropists known as the Benefactors. They are the children of parents who became wealthy through unethical means. Their most famous member is Simon Gideon, tech genius and CEO of Gideon Technologies.

The Benefactors agreed to provide him with funding and technology to open underground medical facilities and clinics. They also provide him with non-lethal weaponry and other devices that he uses to fight criminals that stand in the way between him and the victims of gang/drug violence.

He became known as the Savior because he not only tries to save lives, he tries to save souls through his Christian faith.
