Growing up overweight because of a thyroid problem, Hana could never live up to the expectations of Japanese society where most people are slender due to traditional Japanese diets.

She was often shamed by those around her, especially her parents.

She was going to try to commit suicide in Japan’s infamous Suicide Forest but saw a sign for a Sumo Wrestling school on the way there. She was rejected for being a female, so she decided to compete in underground Sumo tournaments.

Kaiya Banchamek, the Yakuza leader known as the Triple Fist, was betting on the event and was impressed to see a female willing to compete against men. She offered her a special steroid known as Tiger Blood. Hana took it and easily beat her opponents and went on to be undefeated in the underground tournaments. She learned Sumo Wrestling as she competed. She developed a dependency on Tiger Blood and Kaiya Banchamek used this as an opportunity to recruit her into her all-female Yakuza Clan as her top enforcer.

Abilities: Hana is a Taker. Her physiology responds differently to certain substances than most other people; giving her enhanced abilities. For her, the substance is a special steroid known by the street name of Tiger Blood.
