Zion Maddox is a native of Jamaica. He was stomped to death during a crowd stampede at a local soccer match. This activated his dormant Ambient Gene, resurrecting him to life and giving him Ambient powers.
He used his powers to cultivate a strain of Marijuana that dominated the global Marijuana black market. Officials in charge of Battle Hammer saw this as an opportunity to coerce him into joining forces. He was threatened with imprisonment on various international drug charges if he didn’t cooperate. His nature-based powers allowed him to infiltrate a group of super-powered eco-terrorists known as Cooperation: Earth.
After holding up his part of the bargain, he was cleared of all the charges and given several contracts with government-friendly corporations that distribute legalized Marijuana for medicinal and recreational purposes.
This made him a Billionaire. One day, during a smoking session of his potent form of Marijuana he had an epiphany. This inspired him to join Battle Hammer to fight along other superheroes to help protect this world, and the universe.
Powers and Abilities:
- He can create spheres of energy that can replicate elements, matter, and microorganisms found within Earth’s four spheres (Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere, Atmosphere) such as fire, water, lightning, rocks, dirt, oxygen, plants, amoeba, etc.
- He can use these spheres as cannons to disperse elemental energy such as fire and electricity.
- He can surround himself in an energy sphere, using it as a force field and as a means of flight. He can create oxygen within these spheres to allow him to travel underwater and to outer space. He can also regulate the temperature inside the spheres.
- He can connect several spheres together to form a man-shaped giant capable of great strength, flight, and the ability to fire off elemental energy.
- He can bioengineer and merge certain elements such as plants and microorganisms to affect their composition. He’s used this ability to create unique strains of Marijuana, vegetables that can thrive in harsh conditions for impoverished lands, and antidotes to various types of poisons and harmful chemicals.
- He can cause explosions by crashing two energy spheres together that contain explosive elements.
- He has a telepathic connection to the spheres that allow him to “see” through them. He can send them out as drones up to a 1 mile radius. He can also “speak” through them telepathically.
