Claudius is an Atlantean, an aquatic alien race that migrated to our planet and took refuge in the ocean near Greece. They are from the planet Atlantis, a planet submerged in water that was destroyed by the Helfuriian alien race for refusing to be subservient to them. They named their colony New Atlantis.

His father is the king of his Tribos (Race Tribe) known as the Eeelish. Exu is the surname of his bloodline.

Claudius is very rebellious and resents that the Atlanteans must keep their identities secret to most humans out of fear of being found by the Helfuriian race that has infiltrated the Earth’s population with intentions of conquest. He became even more enraged when he discovered that his people and two other Tribos survived because they fled their planets and refused to fight. He viewed this as cowardly. To seek redemption for what he perceived as cowardice, he started a movement within the three Tribos of Atlantis to rise up against the Helfuriians. He was consequently arrested for endangering the entire colony.

The Royal Council of the Trident sentenced him to exile by teleportation to an unknown world via the Shell of Divinity, a giant sea shell from their home planet that is a portal to other realms.

King Gregorios of the Greek city of New Sparta, also known as the super hero called the Black Spartan; a human ally of New Atlantis … attended his trial and convinced the Royal Council to allow him to join a group of international youth superheroes ranging from 18 to 23 years old called the Youngsters. He saw the willingness to fight inside of Claudius and figured this would be a good outlet. They agreed. Atlanteans age 10 years slower than humans. Claudius is 180 years old, which puts him at the maturity level of an 18 year old human.

Claudius was given the nick name Squid Kid because of his aquatic abilities and a black ink like substance that he can secrete from his pores that resembles squid ink.

Claudius’s alien physiology gives him special abilities.

He can breathe underwater for indefinite amounts of time.
He can telepathically communicate with sea animals
He can emit an organic ink-like substance that is a life-form that is linked to him telepathically. It can be molded into various shapes and harden to the toughness of steel. It can seep through very narrow spaces, including through the spores of living beings to take absolute control of that person or animal. It can be used to heal, by sucking out toxins from a living being and disposing of them naturally.
He can swim very fast; reaching speeds up to a 110 miles per hour.
