Amisha Farooqi is a member of the Crescent Moon Sisterhood, a tribe of Islamic female warriors who were formed in the early 1900s to protect Indonesian women from oppression at the hands of men who practiced a very abusive and misogynistic form of Religious practice.
Members must fight to earn the right to wield a mystical set of swords called the Crescent Moons and bare the mantle of the Guardian Avenger. The Guardian Avenger originally protected oppressed Muslim woman from abuse, and executed justice on behalf of female victims that couldn’t be protected; hence, taking on the role of a Guardian and an Avenger.
The Guardian Avenger is now a vigilante that protects all of Jakarta, Indonesia’s innocent citizens and seeks extreme justice when necessary.
She also became a member of an international team of Superheroes called Battle Hammer.
Abilities and Weaponry:
- She is an expert in Silat empty hand and edged weapon fighting systems
- She carries two Ambient Blades called the Crescent Moons:
- They attract and channel energy from the Ambient Dimension
- They can cut through anything except force-fields and other Ambient Blades
- They can slow down beings with super speed within 100 feet
- They can block psychic and telepathic energy
- They can disrupt the energy frequency of beings made of supernatural matter
- When she touches the blades together they allow her to teleport within seeing distance
